Disney Junior has launched a new website namely "Pirate and Princess: Power of Doing Good" recently on 09 December 2014 of which I believed that many of you parents have already heard about it or even seen the advertisement on Disney Junior channel.  But did anyone of you understand the rationale behind it and what are the activities that your little one can participate while cultivating a 'caring with love character' towards the environment?

Disney Junior's "Pirate and Princess: Power of Doing Good" campaign aims to introduce kids aged 2-7 to the idea and also the values of - CARING for Nature, Animals, Community and the goodness of helping others or those in need.  This campaign aimed to empower preschoolers to participate in acts of service encouraged by parents and supported by the community.

"Through the power of our stories and characters, Disney Junior not only inspire kids to imagine a better world but also help them to realize through simple acts of caring for their surroundings and community of which I believed that this is what our children lack off nowadays.

Partnering with WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature), SPCA Singapore and Selangor and also Singapore Environment Council, this "Power of Doing Good" campaign on Disney Junior will empowers your kids and family members with information and opportunities to engage with your friends and communities to make positive impact on the world around you.

Children need to learn from a young age, to be aware and care for the environment, animals and also the society.  And this will go a long way in growing a generation who takes responsibility in shaping a healthy planet as quoted by Ms. Elaine Tan, the Chief Executive Officer of WWF Singapore.

Throughout this whole campaign, both popular Disney Junior characters, Jake from Jake and the Never Land Pirates and Sofia from Sofia the First will take on the role to lead the kids on a journey of personal empowerment through the "Power of Doing Good" campaign.
